On the 20th we plan the month ahead. Every post, the date it goes out, the angle, the picture. You get the whole thing in one place and you change whatever you want. Nothing gets made until the plan is settled, so nothing gets made twice.

We learn the business

One call, about an hour, usually only once. What you sell, who buys it, what makes you different from the one down the road, and the things you will not say in public. We write it down and we work to it.

We plan the month

A month of posts, laid out by date. We build it around what is actually happening in your business and in the calendar. If August is your quiet month, August looks different.

What we need from you: a look at the plan. Five minutes.

We make it and we post it

Copy written, photos shot or sourced, artwork designed, everything scheduled. Each post comes to your phone before it goes out. Approve it or send it back.

You get the numbers

One page at month end. What went out, what people did with it, which post did best and why we think so, and what we are changing next month.

What we need from you: nothing.

The approval

Approving takes under a minute.

The post arrives on your phone. You see the picture and the words exactly as they will appear. Approve, or send it back with a note. That is the whole job.

The report says what moved, not what we hope you will think.

Real numbers, in plain language, with the reason attached. No bought metrics, because we do not buy any. No charts that exist to fill a page.

Questions, answered.

Can you guarantee more followers?
No, and nobody who is being straight with you can. What we guarantee is that the work goes out on time, every week, and that you see exactly what it did at month end.
Do you run ads?
No. Cotento is organic only. We do not buy media and we do not ask you to. Everything we make has to earn its place on the page.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. Month to month, 30 days notice either way.
What if I do not like a post?
Reject it. We redo it. Nothing goes out before you have approved it, which is the point of the one minute approval.
Do you need photos from me?
Helpful, not required. We shoot, and we can work from what you already have. Every photo gets the same treatment, so a phone picture and a proper shoot sit next to each other without it showing.
Which platforms?
Instagram and Facebook as standard. LinkedIn and TikTok on request.
Where are you?
South Africa. We work with businesses across the country and shoot in person in the Western Cape.
How long until the first post goes out?
Usually about a week from the first call. The call, then the plan, then the first posts.
Who writes the copy?
A person, every time. The same people every month, which is why a page ends up looking like one brand instead of six freelancers.
What happens if we have nothing going on that month?
That is most months for most businesses, and it is our job not yours. The plan is built around the year your business actually has, so a quiet month looks different rather than looking empty.
Can we approve a whole month at once?
Yes. Some clients tap through the month in one sitting and some do it post by post. Both work.
Do you reply to comments and messages?
No. We publish and we report. Your inbox and your DMs stay yours, and we will tell you when something in them needs you.
