What we do with your information.
Short version: we only hold what you typed into the booking form, and you can ask us to delete it.

Who is responsible
Cotento is a brand of Central Studio (Pty) Ltd, a South African company. Central Studio is the responsible party for any personal information collected through this site.
What we collect
Only what you type into the booking form on this site: your name, your business name, your WhatsApp number, a line about what you sell, and anything you add in the optional box. We do not ask for an identity number, an address or any payment detail, and the site has no account to create.
The booking form does not store anything on this website. It opens WhatsApp on your own device with the message already written, and nothing is sent until you press send. Up to that point your answers never leave your phone or computer.
Why we collect it
To call you back about the work you are enquiring about, and for no other purpose. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not sell or rent information to anybody, and we do not use it to build an advertising audience.
Where it goes
Your message arrives in a WhatsApp conversation with us. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms and their own terms apply to the message in transit. We keep the conversation in our records of the enquiry.
This site is hosted by Vercel. Their servers log the ordinary technical detail every web server logs, such as the page requested and the approximate region of the request. We do not combine that with anything you typed.
How long we keep it
If we do not end up working together we keep the enquiry for 12 months and then delete it. If we do work together, the record becomes part of the client file and is kept for as long as South African tax and company law requires.
Cookies and measurement
This site sets no advertising cookies and carries no advertising pixel. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a third party, so loading a page does not call out to anybody else. If we add visitor measurement we will say so here first.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Send the request on WhatsApp through the booking page and we will action it within 30 days. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information about anybody under 18.
Changes
If this notice changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
